I designed Zumlo, keeping these barriers in mind, so that it provides a significant level of accessibility and autonomy, allowing users to engage with app features, reliable resources and tools when and where they prefer, something I wish I had access to while navigating my own mental healthcare journey. In fact, users report a high level of satisfaction with AI-enabled technologies, appreciating the autonomy and convenience of accessing mental health services outside traditional settings, particularly in between appointments. This satisfaction is particularly noted in environments where individuals feel more comfortable disclosing personal information from the privacy of their homes, enhancing the overall user experience and fostering a deeper connection with the app.
Ethical Considerations
As someone who has worked in legal technology for around 20 years, I am well aware of the ethical and regulatory concerns that surround sensitive health information.
